Vietnam is one ofthe best source for high quality cassia. From here, cassia is shippedto many countries such as Taiwan, India, the USA, Thailand, theNetherlands... Although the price for this commodity in Vietnam isfairly high as compared to Indonesian Cassia (Vera), but such highprices correspond to high quality, high oil content of the produce.

Cassiais grown in some regions of Vietnam but mainly in Yen Bai and Thanh Hoaprovinces, where the soil, the weather is very favorable for growinghigh quality cassia. Besides, cassia is also grown in Quang Ninhprovince with a little lower quality, in Da Nang with very good qualitybut high price.

Cassiais not so much influenced by the weather as Star Aniseed. Therefore,the yearly output is rather stable, making the prices changing in asmaller range.
