Rice shall be fresh, free from abnormal flavours, odours, alive insects. In addition, rice shall not contain other contaminants and toxins in amounts which may represent a hazard to human health.
PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY
Arbor Atlas (Pty) Ltd., can produce 300,000 metric tons of rice per annum with the network of processing facilities all over the major paddy material areas, efficient transportation, the capacity of a storage depot over 70,000 metric tons, suported by modern rice polishing and milling machinery system, and product quality managed to comply with the standards of ISO 9001:2000.
COMMERCIAL PROCEDURES
In order to best serve serious customers, we request adherence to the following commercial procedures;
1. Sales quotation request by either fax or e-mail to Arbor Atlas (Pty) Ltd.
2. Buyer issues a signed and stamped LOI (Letter of Intent) on the Buyer’s letterhead.
3. Seller will then submit FCO (Full Corporate Offer).
4. Buyer returns the signed FCO to the Seller.
5. Seller issues a contract with full banking details.
6. Seller provides proof of product on approval of letter of credit text.
7. Buyer’s bank opens letter of credit.
8. Shipments commence as per contract.
9. Seller usually pays for SGS or Bureau Veritas inspection at port of loading.
