Spanish high quality wine from Ribera del Duero. 14,5% alcohol content. 80 year old vineyards, giving Gourmet standard quality. Visits to our cellars can be arranged on demand.

85% Tempranillo, 15% Merlot

Elaboration

Wine made with 85 % Tempranillo (coming from vines over 60 years old )

and 15 % Merlot grape varieties, placed at over 900 m above sea level

with severe winters and dry summers. After the fermentation, the wine

ages 6 months in new American oak barrels and at least 6 months in

bottle.

Tasting notes

Deep cherry red colour with maroon rims. Clean and brilliant. Top layer.

Long potent aroma with vanilla, coffee and liquorice blending with fleshy

fruit (figs and peaches) and ripe black fruit (Blackberry and redcurrant).

Complex in mouth, tasty, round and potent; with vanilla, toasted aromas,

and red fruit (hints of redcurrant and blackberry jam), with a slight

mineral hint and sweet tannins. Fruity end, long and persistent, fresh

despite its structure
