Microbial polysaccharides welan gum is extracellular polysaccharide which NX-3 (Alcaligenes sp.secretes, welan gum is made up of glucose, mannose,rhamnose and glucuronic acid. Based on the molecular formula, due to its hydrogen bond lies in the polymer chain between two indican rings, which leads to solution viscosity increases obviously and its better adhesion on the surface material, at the same time ,which makes whole solution produce a large range of bridge effect, thereby increasing the yield value, keep the solution system in a quiet place or medium shear good adhesiveness, so that it can produce excellent thickening property, rheological property and suspension stability.
