In the process of Potato Starch extraction, potato starch machinery is necessary. The potatoes will be stored in the day storage after weighed. From the day storage the potatoes will be transported by water stream through a trough into the gravity de-stoner as well as washing without damage and further into the drum washer.
A part list of POTATO STARCH MACHINERY:
1. Cage cleaning machine : to cleaning potato
2. De-sanding cyclone: Remove sand and other heavy impurities in starch slurry
3. Rasping mill: to crush potato into starch slurry and granules.
4. Centrifugal sieve: separate fiber inside potato starch by centrifuge force.
5. Hydro-cyclone: to potato starch separation, recovery, refining and concentration.
6. Rotary drum vacuum filter: it is used for dewatering.
Potato starch air dryer machinery: to dry potato starch. Low-level drum washer for thorough cleansing of the potatoes, according to soil characteristics we may choose two-level cage potato washing machine or one-level cage potato starch machinery and one-level plate potato washing machine, and then advance the potatoes before grinding hopper by the elevator. Working mode of washing is the countercurrent washing.
Potato starch machinery use an indirect Condenser for the condensation of the remaining flash steam. Cell fluid after the pre-heating is pumped to the condensation process. Before the rally, the cell solution is added hydrochloric acid to reduce pH. Heat the cell sap by direct injection of steam to unite.
