chardonnay is an important component of many sparkling wines around the world, including Champagne.
Rich is the word that best both describes Chardonnay and explains its popularity. It is a green-skinned grape variety used to make white Wine. It is believed to have originated in the Burgundy wine region of eastern France but is now grown wherever wine is produced, from England to New Zealand.
Chardonnays aroma is distinct, yet delicate, difficult to characterize, easier to recognize. It often smells like apples, lemons, PEACHES or tropical fruits. Its delicacy is such that even a small percentage of another varietal blended into a Chardonnay will often completely dominate its aroma and flavour.
