Produced from the great mountainous Monemvasia, the local white variety from the area of Lefkes, Thapsana and Stavros. Meticulously selected and harvested between the 22–25th of August from well tendered, low yield (7000 kg/hectare) vineyards of the Moraitis Winery Producer Group. The fermentation and the mellowing in oak barrels for 5 months give this wine a unique character.

Characteristics:

•Bright yellow color with golden reflections.

•Flowery and Citrus aromas of Monemvasia along with pleasant notes of smoked vanilla and oak on the background.

•Harmonious and oily, with a full body and a long lasting aftertaste.

•Can be cellared for 3 – 4 years.

Food and wine: Fatty fish, smoked cheese, poultry and pork with white sauce.

Serving temperature: At 10-12 oC.
