Holle Organic Three Grain Baby Porridge is one of the two multi-grain porridges from the Holle porridge range and can be given to your baby after he/she is established with solid foods and used to single grain porridges.
Oats are truly outstanding amongst Cereals. It contains the most fat at 7%, of which 80% is accounted for by polyunsaturated fatty acids. It has the highest protein content of all European cereals and contains six essential amino acids. Oats also contain a lot of vitamin B1 and the starch it contains is particularly easily digested. However it is the roughage contained in oats which is very absorbent and which works miracles, removing unwanted bacteria, toxins and acids from the intestinal tract.
Barley was probably the first grass to be cultivated by humankind and thus to become a cereal. Barley contains little gluten, several B vitamins, vitamin E as well as many minerals. Barley is traditionally used as a stomach remedy and can also can help to regulate blood sugar. Barley is easily digestible and strengthens the sensory nervous system. It has positive effects on skin and connective tissue.
Spelt is an old cereal which developed from the original wheat varieties of Einkorn and Emmer. Spelt exceeds most varieties of wheat in its contents of essential amino acids. It also contains a higher than average amount of vitamins and minerals. spelt has a considerable presence of silicic acid and it is to this that spelt’s positive effect upon the intellectual faculties is attributed as is its effect upon skin and hair. Spelt stands out for its protein content and has an excellent gluten. Those suffering from wheat intolerance have successfully used spelt in their diets as a replacement.
Boil 100 ml of water with 100 ml of full fat organic milk and let it cool a little.
Pour into a bowl and stir in 5 tbsp of Holle Organic Three Grain Baby Porridge and cool until the right temperature for your baby. Breast milk can be used or Holle Organic Infant Formulas .

Add fruit puree, freshly made with our ever so popular glass grater or add the content of one of the many Holle organic baby fruit jars .

Add 3-4 tablespoons of the Holle Organic Three Grain Baby Porridge to your home made vegetable puree or add the content of one of the many Holle organic baby vegetable jars .
