Brief Introduction of Gynostemma  Tea

 

Gynostemma  Tea : also called JiaoGuLan Tea,growing in mountain area of the southern of China,which had been 

being widely used in China for its greatly miraculous health-giving effects.  In the countryside of China, herbalists often use this herb as an antitussive and an expectorant for cough, chromic 

bronchitis and asthma; as an antiphlogistic and detoxification for infectious hepatitis; as a depressor for hypertension 

etc. 

  

Recently researching found that Jiao Gu Lan also has many other effects. It has the function of regulating blood fat; 

harmonizing the lever of low-density cholesterol and high-density cholesterol in blood; boosting immunity;  improving and strengthening the digestion and helping sleep etc.
It has been found that Jiao Gu Lan contains 84 beneficial saponins, three times more than ginseng, yet it has no 

side effects. So it is a good tonic for human body, like as ginseng is.For this reason, it is also called  "Southern Ginseng”.

J iaogulan contains a large amount of harmonic saponins,partly the same as in the Ginseng plant.Next to that ,

jiaogulan contains its own group of saponins,called gypenosides.These gypenosides prevent stress from harming

Direction:
