Windmill Brand Potato Starch (50 lb./bag) is from Holland. We are the sole agent in the East Coast of the U.S.A. This product is a gluten free product usually used as a thickener in soups, sauces and stews instead of modified wheat starch. It has a minimum of 1350 BU viscosity that is higher peak viscosity than other starches. It has neutral taste, bland and free from objectionable odours. It has low amount of reducing sugars. It could be stored at a minimum of 36 months after date of production. It is most used in Soups and Noodles, Dumplings, Potato Snacks, Meat Coating, Bakery Products, etc.
