Climate: A relative dry winter followed by a hot, dry growing season (good rains only in November), with a short, warm and very dry ripening period, which resulted in good colour and firm tannin structure. An above average vintage.

Yield: 6.5 Tons/ha
Vinification: 4 Days on the skins in open fermenters at 30 . Punch cap by hand. After malolactic fermentation wines are matured in French Nevers oak ?2nd and 3rd fill.
Description: A full bodied blend with a deep red colour, excellent balance between fruit and oak, and a long aftertaste. A wine for drinking now but that will age in the bottle for at least another 3-5 years.
