| The trellised vineyards are located close to Rawsonville in the Breedekloof Valley. A milder summer resulted in a longer hang time delivering juicier wines with beautifully structured tannins
Winemaking |
| The Pinotage and merlot was handled separately until blending of the final wine. The grapes were hand harvested at average of 26brix. After destalking and crushing the grapes where fermented in stainless steel tanks with selected yeast strains. Pump-overs were done frequently and after fermentation the grapes were gently pressed in a pneumatic press and racked to stainless steel tanks. After undergoing malolactic fermentation the wine was racked again and the final blend was made. To better express the nature and concentration of fruit of these two varietals the wine is unoaked. The proportion of the blend is 50% Pinotage and 50% Merlot.
Winemakers Comments |
| Ruby red with purple rim. This wine is packed with bags of soft approachable fruit of plums and mulberries with seductive Strawberry nuances. Soft, gentle tannins coat the palate and lend substance to the wine. The finish is velvety and persistent.

| Ideal with slow roasted lamb shank served with a mint sauce.
