6. Character: Stable under normal temperature and pressure, white monoclinal crystal with pearl luster and taste of acetic acid. Soluble in water and ethanol. Crystal water was lost at 100℃, and the anhydrous substance was white monoclinic crystal. When the temperature is high, acetone is formed. It is easily soluble in water and its aqueous solution is weakly acidic with a pH value of about 5.6. Soluble in ethanol. Heating to 100℃ to lose crystalline water into anhydrous matter.
