The first locally produced Rum from the sugar cane in KwaZulu-Natal.

Zulu Rum was first thought of in 1999 when Clinton Wyness was a regional sales

manager in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) ,South Africa. While travelling all around KZN

and seeing all the sugar cane around the province he thought it strange that KZN

does not have its own Rum as in most other sugar producing areas ,such as

Mauritius ,Caribbean and Bundaberg Australia.

Clinton started going to talk to people he knew for support but no one shared the

same passion to start local Rum. One day he mentioned it to a close friend Wayne

Oliver now partner in Zulu Rum. He supported it right from the beginning and

made all his staff and office equipment available for the research to start Zulu Rum.

So began the storey of Zulu Rum.

There are 3 different types of Zulu Rum that are all very smooth Rums.

They are as follows:

 

Zulu Rum: which is a clear Rum, is very light in flavour.

Zulu Rum will be great to use in cocktails and with a fruit mix such as ORANGE JUICE

or mango.

Zulu Gold Rum: which is of a gold colour Rum, with a raison type flavour

and will go with a cola and sprite type mix.

Zulu Impi Rum is the Dark Rum with a woody flavour which will suit the people

that like to drink Rum and cola.

 

There has been great interest shown from within South Africa, UK, EU, USA and the Asia area.
