ICPO to start a deal. also require a Bank Comfort Letter (BCL). We specialize in 12 month contracts. For all deals, before providing a price we need to know. Total quantity, shipment quantities per month and for how many months, destination port (determines taxes we must pay and the size of the ships we will need to send based on the port’s capacities), type of payment, buyer's bank and where bank is located (our banks charge us different amounts depending on the buyer’s bank and where it is located as well as how much of an instrument they will accept), number of brokers and what the total commissions being asked for are. We also need to know whether the deal is a government or private order. We strongly suggest the buyer provides us with a target price. If target price is ridiculously low then we don’t take the buyer seriously and will not continue.
There are 2 options which we offer:
1) The 1 month BG would be held for 12 months and if at any point during the contract the buyer fails to perform we would terminate the contract, per clause in the contract, and monetize the BG to pay for the last shipment we would send at the time of the Termination.
OR
2) The buyer gets a 1 month BG and transfers it to our bank at which point we take over the payments for the BG.
