Description: white or yellowish crystals or powder. Soluble in water (saturated solution is about 30%) and alcohol. Easily deoxided, it gradually darkens on exposure to light or heat. In the dry state it is reasonabley stable in air, but in solution it deteriorates rapidly in the presence of air.
