Vitamin C, also known as L-Ascorbic Acid or L-Ascorbate, is a naturally occurring water-soluble vitamin. It is a white or slightly yellow crystalline powder with a sour taste, odorless, and stable in dry air. 【 Applications】

Vitamin C is one of the most widely used food additives in the global food industry. It can be used alone or in combination with other antioxidants and preservation agents to achieve synergistic effects. According to GB 2760-2024, vitamin C (CNS 04.014) is listed in Table A.2 “List of Food Additives Permitted for Use as Needed in Various Food Categories“ as an antioxidant, color fixative, and flour treatment agent.
