Main application:
The product is non-ionic cellulose ether, mainly used as filmogen and gels of thin film coating and emulgator, suspending agent and stabilizer of ointment. The concentration generally is 2-10%. In tablet, granulation, it is used as adhesive, with concentration generally 2-5%. Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose is widely used in oral and topical preparation, mainly used as adhesive of tablet, thin film coating material and framework material of sustained-release tablet. For low viscosity, it can be used as adhesive of wet granulation tablet and adhesive of dry granulation. High viscosity can be used as retardant of framework of tablet and capsule, with the function of delaying drug release.
