Character: It is colorless column crystal, odorless slightly deliquescence. It is easily soluble in water, but insoluble in ethanol. The relative density is 2.04 and melting point is 60 .If heated below 100, it can dissolve in crystal water an convert to monohydrate salt. When heated to 100,it will lose crystal water and change to anhydrous, which will become sodium meta phosphate if continue to be heated. 
 
Usage: In food industry it is used as buffering, character improving agent, emulsifier, nutrition supplement, antioxidant additive, brine penetrable agent, sugar clarifier, stabilizer, coagulant, fowl scaling agent.
 
Packing: It is paged with polythene bag as the inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
 
Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry, ventilate and clean warehouse; Be cautious to keep away from moisture and hot; unloaded with care. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
