Description: Acanthopanax, also called siberian ginseng, are valuable medicinal plants which has a long history in China. Mainly distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei province. Known as typical of China’s northeast region medicinal plants for increasing the body’s resistance to harmful toxic elements, has the strong immunogenicity role of anti-fatigue, anti-tumor, anti-radiation. Polysaccharide from roots and root bark is water-soluble and alkali soluble which content were 2.3% and 5.7%, 2% ~ 6 % consists of fructose, glucose, arabinose and other components. Modern medical studies have shown that Acanthopanax polysaccharides have anti-aging, anti-tumor, enhance the specificity and non-specific immune function.
