The hallmark of our Argentina Angus beef is its excellent quality. This is where the lengthy and interesting task of cold storage begins: to control the process from the live bullock through to the slaughter. DAT works jointly with Frigorifico Arroyo, founded in 1943 by Jesus Arroyo, and currently managed by his sons Alejandro, Daniel, Jorge and Alberto. Distribution in Europe has been successfully channelled by DAT, whether to consumers or to state organisations. Angus beef is characterised by a very low fat content and a high protein value. This is partly due to the time the cattle spend in the pastures, where they graze exclusively on the fresh grass of the Pampas. The superb Argentinian climate allows the cattle to spend the whole year outside. Before vacuum-packing the meat we extract the fat, as we consider it extremely important that the customer pays only for the meat. The product arrives in 20'' refrigerated containers with thorough control of the cold chain to allow perfect maturing at a constant temperature of 0 °C.
