The bottle cap assembly system is to fill and assemble plastic beverage caps. A plastic cup is automatically fed and oriented by a vibratory bowl feeder to pick and place equipment that loads four cups into nests on an indexing assembly dial plate. A flavored crystal powder is dispensed into each of the four cups to the required fill level. A second vibratory bowl feeder system automatically orients and feeds screw on plastic bottle caps to a pick and place that places cap onto the four filled cups on the assembly dial. The dial indexes presenting the subassemblies to four spin welders that assemble the plastic cap and cup by spin welding the components together. The completed assemblies are removed by a four headed pick and place and placed into a flipping mechanism that properly orients the parts on the output conveyor. The assembled caps are then fed to an automatic bottle cap slitter and labelling system. Completed caps are counted and fed to an automatic carton handling system for pack out.
