Sodium citrate anhydrous is used as flavor and stabilizer in food and beverage industry. Used as anticoagulant, phlegm and diuretic in pharmaceutical industry; In detergent industry, it can replace sodium tripolyphosphate as a non-toxic detergent additive. It is an excellent chelator/complexer in chemistry, and the application of sodium citrate in industry takes advantage of this property.
