DESCRIPTION :

White microcrystalline powder. Odorless and tasteless. Relative density is 2.5 ~ 2.7. Easy to absorb the smell. Stable in the air. Heat to 825 ~ 896.6 ?? decomposition (generated CO2, into calcium oxide). Almost insoluble in water and ethanol. If the existence of ammonium or carbon dioxide can increase its solubility in water. And alkali hydroxide may reduce the solubility. Low moisture absorption. Soluble in acid (acetic acid, diluted hydrochloric acid, dilute nitric acid) can produce CO2. Insoluble in dilute sulfuric acid.
