We supply the following type of cassava from Vietnam

-Fresh cassava root Extra Class (not less than 300g/pc)

-Fresh cassava root Class I (not less than 300g/pc)

-Fresh Cassava root Class II (not less than 300g/pc)

-Dried cassava name tapioca chips

-Cassava starch

 

Extra Class specification

a)  of superior quality in terms of taste, texture, skin and flesh color

b)  characteristic of the variety and/or commercial type, uniform in shape, quality and size.

c) free from defects, with the exception of very slight superficial defects, provided these do not affect the general appearance of the produce, the quality, the keeping quality and presentation in the package and not in any case affecting not more than 2 % of the cassava roots.

 

Class I Specification

a)  of good quality; and

b)  characteristic of the variety and/or commercial type.

c) slight defects, however, may be allowed, provided these do not affect the general appearance of the produce, the quality, the keeping quality and presentation in the package:

d)  slight defects in shape not exceeding 5% of the roots;

e)  bruising, not exceeding 10 % of the surface area of the roots and

f)  scraped areas, not exceeding 20 % of the surface area of the roots

g)  scarred and healed damage, not exceeding 5% of the surface area of the roots.

h) The defects shall not, in any case, affect the pulp of the produce.

 

Class II Specification

a) defects, however, may be allowed, provided the cassava retains its essential characteristics as regards the quality, the keeping quality and presentation:

b)  defects in shape not exceeding 10 % of the roots;

c)  bruising, not exceeding 20 % of the surface area of roots and

d)  scraped areas, not exceeding 30 % of the surface area of roots.

e)  scarred and healed damage, not exceeding 10% of the surface area of the roots.

f)  The defects must not, in any case, affect the pulp of the produce.
