Only the best wines of Chianti Classico, the most structured and with a higher alcohol content, are allocated to reserves. After aging in oak barrels and aging in bottigila, the product has a ruby red color tending to garnet, an intense and persistent aroma and a dry flavor and velvety.
Uncorking the bottle an hour before the service, the wine will develop all its bouquet.


It fits very well with grilled meats, roasts and strong cheeses.

In the movie The Silence of the Lambs, directed by Jonathan Demme in 1991, Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal Lecter) utters the famous phrase: "One who was a census once tried to interrogate me. I ate his liver with a nice plate of beans and a good Chianti ... ".
