  Chili Paste with Black Pepper

Prepare:

Mushroom, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, jicama and bamboo, as you wish.

Cooking Directions:

1.     Chop fresh vegetables into long shreds, about1/4-inch wide.

2.     Preheat wok or large skillet over high heat until it is hot.

3.     Add oil, wait until the oil get very hot, almost smoking (the vegetable should sizzle during the entire cooking time).

4.     Add the mushroom, broccoli, cabbage, jicama, and bamboo, and continue as you wish to stir-fry for 1 minute.

5.     Add the sauce and continue to stir-fry until broccoli and cabbage are tender (3 minutes), adding about a tablespoon of water, if needed, to keep most.

6.     Spoon onto a platter, sprinkle with sesame oil, and serve immediately.
