A perfect Blend of Virgin coconut oil and Rice Bran Oil. Despite its similarities to other common vegetable oils, rice bran oil offers several unique properties that make it very interesting as a specialty oil in niche markets. It has a very appealing nut-like flavor and once extracted is very stable with good fry-life. But perhaps its most notable feature is its high level of components with nutraceutical value such as gamma-oryzanol and tocotrienols.
Rice bran oil, in its natural state, contains several constituents of potential significance in diet and health. Interest has focused primarily upon gamma-oryzanol, tocotrienols, and tocopherols, all of which demonstrate antioxidant properties. The latter two are naturally-occurring forms of Vitamin E.
When blending the coconut oil and Rice Bran Oil, it creates a brand new premium cooking oil available in the market. The new blend is called "Cocobran Oil". It contains over 7200ppm Oryzanol (which cannot be found in other vegetable oil) and 6% Lauric Acid.
Cocobran oil is the most balanced and versatile oil on the market, and very close to the AHA recommendations (American Heart Association). AHA recommend a balanced fat intake which provide nutrition’s to sustain life.
A balanced fat intake should contain approximately 30% saturated fat, 37% mono-unsaturated fat and 33% poly-unsaturated fat. Cocobran Oil has 28% saturated fat, 42% mono-unsaturated fat and 30% poly-unsaturated fat. No other oil is so close to AHA’s recommendations.
