Coconut Flour is produced via process in which the fat from the coconut meat is remove and grounded into flour. It is 100% Organic. It contains 61% Fiber higher than any other flour. Helps in detoxifying; good for weight management because it makes you feel full; Gluten-free; low in carbohydrates; it lowers the Glycemic index(GI) when eaten with food high in GI. It contains trace minerals since coconut trees grow usually in volcanic soil; Coconut Flour is a good flour substitute for baking and cooking. As an additive to wheat-based recipes for extra fiber, substitute 10-30% of grain-based with coconut flour. Due to its high fiber and Protein content, maybe added to smoothies and shakes.
