Disodium Phosphate (DSP):

 

1). Molecular Formula: Na2HPO4

 

2). Molecular Weight: Anhydrous: 141.96

 

3). CAS NO: anhydrous: 7558-79-4

 

4). Character: White or colorless rhombic crystalline or prismatic crystal. Easily soluble in water, but in soluble in ethnol. The relative density is 1.63 and melting point is 34.6°c. If heated to 180°c, it may loss crystal water and convert to anhydrous.

 

5). Usages: In food industry, it's used as agent for baking to avoid oxidation stain and as Emulsifier in dairy product to prevent egg white from solidfication. Also used as emulsifier and chelate agent for solid drinks.

Mainly applied to cheese, drinks, jelly, ice-cream .

 

6). Packing: Packing with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25KG.

 

7). Storage and transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse. Kept away from moisture and hot. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances. Unloaded with care so as to without damage.
