Process Flow of Oil Leaching Equipment
Oil leaching is the process of extracting oil from oil seeds by organic solvent, which uses the principle of application extraction. In general, using n-hexane to spray and soak oil seeds, the oil in oil seeds is extracted and mixed oil and solid residue (wet meal) are obtained.
The mixed oil is vaporized by different boiling points with vaporization machine, so that the solvent is vaporized into steam to separate from the oil, thus obtaining the oil (leached crude oil).The solvent vapour continues to be recycled after condensation and cooling.
A certain amount of solvent is also found in the wet meal, which can be dried after the drying process. The solvent vapor released in the process of dissolving and drying can be recycled by condensation and cooling.
Generally, after the pretreatment and press section, the oil seeds with high oil content such as peanuts still contains a large amount of oil in the peanut cake . After the process of leaching, the oil content in the cake can be less than 1%. And the oil seeds with low oil content such as soya, can be directly leach without pre-pressing, and the oil yield will improve.
A total of four processes are included in the oil leaching section: oil leaching, exsolution and drying of wet meal, evaporation of mixed oil and condensation and recovery of solvent vapor.
