ESD engineering plastic POM sheet
Description
POM is a kind of engineering plastic with good mechanical properties. POM together with UHMW PE, Nylon, PTFE are known as four most abrasion resistant plastics. It has almost the same rigidity as metal, so it's an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc, steel, aluminum and other metal materials. We are able to produce POM products without bubbles or cracks.
Characteristics
-High surface hardness
-Good wear resistance
-Excellent machinability
-Nice self-lubricating properties
-Good dimensional stability
-Low water absorption
-Oil resistant
-Work under the temperature of -40-100 centidegrees
Applications
Bearings
POM bearings own excellent stability and good wear resistance in various kinds of moist environments.
Gears
POM has high stiffness and rigidity, good self-lubricating properties. So it has taken the place of metal gears in many applications. (Prior materials: Bronze, Stainless Steel)
Rollers
Guide rollers machined from POM rod operate smoothly and reliably in lift gate systems used to load cargo onto truck beds. (Prior materials: Cast Iron, Cast Aluminium)
Structural Keels
With excellent fatigue and impact resistance, POM is a suitable material of continuously loaded structural keel for prosthetic device. (Prior materials: Nylon, PU)
Slide Blocks
Low coefficient friction, wear resistant, self-lubricating, no need for lubricating oil.
