Candelilla Wax is comes in the category of Vegetable waxes. Is found in the form of ssales entirely covering a reed –like plant (Euphorbia Astisiphilitica , The Euphorbia Cerifera and the Pedilanthus Pavonis ) which grow in the great abundance on the rocky slopes . The plant grows on the average to a height of the one to three feet and only the stalks of the adult plant are uprooted.
Properties : It is hard, Brittle and lustrous and has an aromatic odor. Cadelillia wax is not quite so hard as carnauba wax and does not emulsify or sponify so readily .It is very much compatible with the other waxes.
