Sesamol is extracted from sesame oil, the solvent consumption is high, the cost is high, and it is not suitable for industrial production; the total synthesis route from piperonylamine requires diazotization and hydrolysis, the yield of sesamol is low, at the same time, due to the diazotization and hydrolysis process inevitably to occur coupling side reactions to produce pigment substances in the product is difficult to remove, so the colour of sesamol is not good, the application is limited; the semi-synthetic route from jasmonaldehyde The semi-synthetic route from jasmonic aldehyde is currently the most industrially applicable process route, with good product quality and colour. The synthesis of sesquiterpenes from jasmonic aldehyde is based on a two-step reaction: oxidation and hydrolysis. The use of inexpensive oxidants and reactive extraction techniques in this project allows the resulting product to be quickly removed from the reaction zone, greatly reducing the occurrence of side reactions.
