Ascorbyl palmitate is used as a high efficient antioxidant and oxygen radical scavenger because its has all the biological activities of Vitamin C and recoganized by Food Additives Committee of WHO as nutritious, efficient and safe food additive. Ascorbyl palmitate is the only antioxidant used in baby food in China. Ascorbyl palmitate is used in food to resist oxidation, retain food (oil), enhance Vitamin C, etc.

Food additive: antioxidant; colour retention agent to protect oxidizable natural pigment (such as Capsorubin, Lycopene, Carotene, lutein, etc.); liposoluble antioxidant in animal and vegetable fat and foods to stabilize soybean oil, cottonseed oil, palm oil, unsaturated fat and hydrogenated vegetable oil; antioxidant in baby milk products to prevent baby milk product oxidation, in fried products (such as instant noodles, potato chip, fried fish, fried meat products, etc.) to prevent lipid oxidation, prolong its shelf life, etc.
Chemical daily product: liposoluble whitening and freckle removing product.
Medicine and health care: Ascorbyl palmitate protects the effective ingredients of a
drug, and prevents oxidation; as Vc nutrition enhancer, this product does not irritate stomach and bowels compared with Vc.
