1)Properties:   White crystalline granule or powder; Odorless or with little propionate smell; Deliquescent; Soluble in water (40%), insoluble in alcohol and ethers. The PH value of aqueous solution with 10% is between 8.0 and 10.0.

2) Packing:  Packed with polythene bag as the inner layer, and a plastic woven bag as the outer layer with 25Kg,50Kg or 1000Kg.

3) Storage:  in cool, dry, ventilated warehouse.

Application:

Calcium propionate is a new kind of food additive, is one of the world health organization (WHO) and the United Nations food and agriculture organization (FAO) approved the use of safe and reliable food and feed mould inhibitor. Calcium propionate on mold, yeast and bacteria have a wide range of antibacterial effect.
