Preserved Fruits (teaspoon sweets) and jams.

Our preserves are handmade products boiled in small saucepans. We use a great variety of fruits, such as quince, wild fig, pumpkin, cherry, Apricot, orange, citron, lemon, watermelon, apple etc as well as wild seeds and natural aromatics without preservatives.

What we recommend:

A) Marmelodia Preserves (light taste)

Marmelodia, a small cottage industry, using traditional techniques, creates by hand authentic flavous in small quantities. Concerning our teaspoon sweets, we use only pure ingredients, such us fresh fruits, small quantities of sugar and lemon juice, the taste of which we improve with the addition of natural aromatics and spices.

B) Donna Anastasia Preserves (with taste of honey)

Fruit preserves produced by hand according to a recipe native to the area around Kavala Greece . Natural ingredients, such as fruits, honey and sugar, are combined with a traditional technique to create a unique taste and sweet aroma. Donna Anastasia offers the following tastes:

Preserves and Jams (with addition 5% of honey): chestnut, black-cherry, black-cherry with bitter almond, raspberry, unripe nut, quince, sour cherry, grape, pumpkin, strawberry, apricot, carrot and orange.

C) Traditional Tastes of Eratyra (classic)

In the mountainous village of Eratyra in Northwestern Greece we meet a dynamic group of women, who have set up a cottage industry. Having recorded old authentic recipes and working only with fresh fruits, they produce homemade teaspoon sweets of classic flavor with no added preservative or any other chemicals. So, they offer products from the following seasonal fruits:

i) Preserves: unripe fig, cherry, row nut, sour cherry, plum, watermelon, eggplant, small tomato, pumpkin, quince, bitter orange, bergamot, apricot and orange as well as our specialty, the rose petals teaspoon sweet.

II) Jams: strawberry, peach, plum and orange.

  D) Grandmother’s Recipe (Forgotten flavours)

The cottage industry with the nostalgic name ‘Grandmother’s Recipe”, gathering pure fruits and vegetables from Macedonian land of Northwestern Greece as well as wild herbs and aromatic plants from the mountain Vermio, develops activities with respect to tradition. The result is the creation of the following divine flavors: quince compote, peach compote, plum compote, fig jam, plum jam as well as mixed strawberry and peach jam.
