Ethnopharmacology
Gac is a plant that belong to Cucurbitaceae Family, common name is Spring Bitter Cucumber and its scientific name is Momordica cochinchinensis. Mostly found throughout the region from Southern China to North-eastern Australia and South-eastern Asia.
Gac has been used as food and natural remedy for a long time. Thai people take its unripe fruit, buds and immature leaves to cook and eat with chili paste.
