1 Product introduction

 

D ementholized g arlic oil is pale yellow liquid, and has the strong garlic smell, insoluble in water, partially soluble in ethanol.Although the main ingredients in garlic oil belong to thioether compounds, but its chemical properties are stable. In the acid environment, itcan resist high temperatureabove 120 °C and does not decompose easily. If exposed to ultraviolet ray , it may induce decomposition. It’s obtained from the bulb of liliaceou s plant garlic (Allium sativum l.)by steam distillation from pale yellow to orange fluid. It has a strong p ungent odor, like mercaptan. 1.050 ~ 1.0951.550 ~ 1.580. Principal co mponentsare allyl propyl disulfide, diallyl disulfide, diallyl trisulfide, allicin, etc. It is mainly produced in Egypt and China, etc. It is m ainly used for the production of spice seasoning, and also used to produce disinfectant and other drugs. Garlic oil resin can be extracted from garlic bulb with organic solvent. It is used in the food industry.

Character: From pale yellow to brownish red volatile liquid; it has strong garlic smell and is i nsoluble in water, glycerin and propylene glycol; it’s relative density i s 1.050-1.059 and refractive index 1.550-1.580; chemical properties are stable, but easily lose efficacy when encounter alkali.

 

Usage and dosage: mixed with feed for the drug use of livestock; bonded with feed for the drug use of fish (daily feeding for fish and shrimp only once).

 

Storage method: Sealed and placed in a co ol and dry place to prevent sun block and evaporation.
