DESCRIPTION
glucoamylase Boli GA-175 is made from selected strains of Aspergillus niger using submerged fermentation, extraction and refining techniques. Boli GA-175 has a high conversion rate of starchy substrates into fermentable sugars. Boli GA-175 can hydrolyze α-D-1, 4 glucosidic bonds from the non-reducing end of starch one after. This enzyme also hydrolyzes the α-D-1, 6 glucoside branch bonds of starch and cleaves the α-1, 3 bonds, releasing glucose. Boli GA-175 is our new glucoamylase that has been especially designed for saccharification in fuel ethanol production.
 
PRODUCT CharacteristIcs
Boli GA-175 is very thermostable and has a robust glucoamylase activity. Use of this product provides higher ethanol yields, faster fermentations, and lower residual starch levels.

EFFECT OF pH
For maximum activity, the optimal pH for Boli GA-175 is in the range of 3.5 to 4.5.
 
EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE
The optimal temperature range for Boli GA-175 is 58 to 65°C (137 to 149°F).
 
PRoduct applications and benefits  
Boli GA-175 is used to saccharify liquified mash from various sources including corn, milo, barley, wheat, rice, potatoes and tapioca. The resultant glucose product is fermented by yeast or another appropriate microorganism to yield ethanol.
