A native fruit from South America, also known as Golden Passion Fruit, the GRANADILLA, is the most common and sweetest of the passifloras. The fruit is round shaped, between 6.5 and 8 cm long and between 5.1 and 7 cm in diameter. Its beautiful yellow-orange outer skin is smooth, hard and brittle externally, white and soft on the inside to protect the seeds. Its juicy, Jelly like pulp emits a pleasant scent and proves highly refreshing for it is at once both sweet and tart, making it an excellent fruit to eat as it is.
