High purity CAS*** hot pack sodium acetate trihydrate price
Properties
Sodium Acetate is a white or non-color crystal. Its density is 1.45, melting point is 58°C. It is deliquescent in wet air, and efflorescent into white powder in dry air. When heated to 123°C,it will lose the crystal water and become sodium acetate without water. It solutes well in water and little in alcohol.
Application
Sodium acetateis used in the pharmaceutical industry, as a buffer in the photographic industry and as a supplement for animal feeds to increase the milk fat production of dairy cattle (1).It is also used in the production of dye stuffs, as a polymerization catalyst, as a polymer stabilizer, as a flavoring agent, and in the manufacture of hydroxyl oxides, which are used as extractants in hydrometallurgy.
