This delicious drink is made from fermented honey and is one of the oldest alcoholic beverages known to mankind. Simply put, mead is fermented honey and water. Our meads are traditionally made using quality local honeys, mulled with herbs and allowed to ferment for a number of years, so as to obtain full flavour.

Delicious served as an aperitif or as a dessert wine, lovely over crushed ice. No artificial flavourings and preservatives are used.

Honey Mead-The Traditional Wedding Gift. The word 'honeymoon' derives from the practice of happy couples drinking a glass of mead every day for the lunar month after their wedding day. As well as being said to have aphrodisiac properties, it was also believed mead imbued the drinker with life, wisdom, courage and strength.
