1. IMO has is low sweetness which is only 40% that of Cane Sugar.
2. Its low viscosity similar to that of cane sugar and results in an easier manufacturing processing than maltose.
3. IMO retains moisture well and therefore it not only prevents starch degradation, but also stops crystallization of cane
sugar and glucose.
4. IMO assists the growth of bifidobacteria and is not easily absorbed, therefore, it contains low energy.
