It grew in mid-south of America earliest . It grows and matures each year . The plant is 30 ~ 60 cm high , some 1.6~ 2 m high . The leaf is made of three litter leaves , the flower is white , yellow , light red or light amaranth. It is nutritious , including 25~ 31.1% protein, 1.5 ~ 2.2% fat , 55.6~ 70.3% carbohydrate and lots of vitamin , and there are 0.26~ 0.45 mg carotene and 23 ~ 28 mg vitamin C in each 100 g fruit . The fruit and seed are edible , can be marinaded or dry-cured
