 What is konjac ?

Konjac is a kind of plant that can live upto 3 years long. It mostly grows in the Southwest China mountainous regionKonjac plant has a very nice flower and fruit. The konjac root (tube) is rich of glucomannan fiber, and 40-60% dried konjac root is glucomannan fiber.

What is the function of konjac flour? 

1.Thickener.

Konjac flour can be used as a thickener for smooth gravies, sauces, glazes, soups, stews and casseroles. It is also a thickener in pies, puddings, custards and cake fillings.
