The Krill Oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids. We find on it Omega 3 and Omega 6, essential to a balanced diet.
It contains significant amounts of Antioxidants such as Vitamin E and especially astaxanthin (provitamin A). These antioxidants protect the unsaturated fatty acids and the human body against free radicals.
The krill Oil is also source of phospholipids, the main constituent of cell membranes. Their amphiphilic property gives them the ability to transport fatty acids to the membranes.
