Iron powder water dependent KWX starts absorbing oxygen as soon as it detects water in food.

 

This product does not contain water and does not absorb oxygen from the air unless there is moisture. It detects water in high moisture foods and immediately starts to absorb oxygen.

 

Max time out of pack before use :up to 12 hours.

Function 1 : Prevention of mold

The  DORENCY deoxidizer  prevents the propagation of aerobic bacteria, such as mold, which cannot live without oxygen.  DORENCY deoxidizer  can absorb the small amount of oxygen which comes through the package film and can thus keep foods from getting moldy for a very long time

 

Function 2 : Prevention of oxidization of fat, vitamins etc.

 When fat contained in foods is in contact with oxygen, it oxidizes and deteriorates. In the case of vitamins E and C in foods, this causes depletion in the strength of the vitamin or change in its quality.  DORENCY deoxidizer  stops oxidization and maintain the quality of the food by protecting nutrients from deterioration.

 

 Function 3: Prevention of changes in taste and color
Oxidization has an adverse effect on color and taste.  DORENCY deoxidizer  prevents changes of pigment in foods and at the same time protects aromatic elements in foods such as coffee, tea and seaweed, keeping them tasty and fresh.

 

Function 4: Prevention of damage by pests

 The  DORENCY deoxidizer  eliminates pests but is safe to humans, because it is not a toxic insecticide. It also works efficiently against eggs of pests.

Classification and Use

 

  Different kinds of KEEPIT have been designed to suit to a wide variety of food types and conditions.

 

 

 

Drency offers two main types of DORENCY deoxidizer : iron powder and organic. The organic type employs the oxidization of nonmetal compounds and in terms of its oxygen absorbing function, it is classified into “self-response”, which means it starts to react on contact with air, and “water dependent”, which means it starts to respond only after it detects moisture in the food.
