                              lysine for feed additive

Product Description
L-Lysine, one of essential amino acids, is the first limiting amino acid for pigs and the second for Poultry.  The level of dietary L-Lysine concentration significantly influences on the growth performance  and feed efficiency. Supplementing L-Lysine in dietary could balance the amino acid profile in the formula and fulfill the requirements of animals to optimize the technico-economic result of production.
We are in the position to offer two kinds of L-Lysine:
    L-Lysine HCl 98% (Feed Grade)
   L-Lysine Sulphate 70% (Feed Grade)
Both are fermented from conventionally grown corn starch in china without any foreign materials added during the whole process. The L-Lysine HCl is highly purified to 98% after fermentation. L-Lysine Sulphate, which is more cost-effective, is semi-purified and contains other fermentation by-products such as other essential amino acids and carbohydrate. We established Vender Assurance Programs in place to secure a consistent quality and reliability for all our deliveries. The FAMI-QS and ISO 9001 certificates are available.
L-Lysine HCl 98% could attribute 78.4% free lysine and L-Lysine Sulphate 65%, equal to 65% lysine HCl, could provide 51% free lysine in the feed. whilst, L-Lysine Sulphate 70%, with 55% free lysine.

Applications:
Lysine production for animal feed is a major global industry, reaching in 2009 almost 700,000 tonnes for a market value of over €1.22 billion. Lysine is an important additive to animal feed because it is a limiting amino acid when optimizing the growth of certain animals such as pigs and chickens for the production of meat. Lysine supplementation allows for the use of lower-cost plant protein (maize, for instance, rather than soy) while maintaining high growth rates, and limiting the pollution from nitrogen excretion. In turn, however, phosphate pollution is a major environmental cost when corn is used as feed for poultry and swine.
Lysine is industrially produced by microbial fermentation, from a base mainly of sugar. Genetic engineering research is actively pursuing bacterial strains to improve the efficiency of production and allow lysine to be made from other substrates
