Main application:
Low-Substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, a kind of multipurpose non-ionic cellulose derivative, mainly used as disintegrant and adhesive of solid preparation, and due to large surface area and porosity of its powder, it can quickly absorb water to expand and increase swelling property. When used for tablet,it can make the tablet quickly disintegrate, and its coarse structure makes it have large mosaicism with drugs and particles, which can obviously improve hardness and glossiness of the tablet. For the drug difficult to mold, it can improve compactibility, fragility and decentralization to enhance hardness of the tablet and accelerate disintegration of the tablet. Further accelerate dissolution rate of the drug and improve bioavalability. Dosage of the product generally is 2-5%, during the tablet production, it can be used for wet granulation, and can be internally or externally added into particle tableting .Also can be used in rapid disintegration tablet of direct compression preparation.
